I love fall!

Bradlee turned 7 this month.  I can not believe how fast the time is flying.  He is growing up so fast and I am so proud of the little man he is becoming.

He chose to go to Buffalo Wild Wings on his birthday.  I picked him up from school and we met Josh there for lunch.  He thought that was pretty cool.

 I LOVE the view we have from our balcony.  The mountains are so pretty but I really enjoy looking out and seeing the Draper Temple.  It is a nice reminder of what is important.

 Fall is my favorite time of year.  I love the beautiful colors and the crisp air.  We are taking advantage of such a nice week.

We went to a pumpkin patch.  It was really fun!

In July, Bradlee competed in a Kids Triathlon.  He LOVED it and has not stopped talking about next year!  He took 2nd place in his age group, so he got a trophy as well as a finishers medal.  

First Grade

Bradlee is officially in first grade.  His new school is year round so he started at the end of july.  I can't believe how grown up he is!  I miss my baby but I am so happy to see him learn and grow.

Summer Happenings

 We ran the wasatch back Ragnar again.  Its so fun to share a fun hobby with my dad!

Josh and I did the Spudman in Burley Idaho as a relay team with Josh's brother.  Jason swam, Josh biked and I ran.  It was really fun and Bradlee enjoyed the time with his cousins!

We moved at the beginning of July and my dad slept on the trailer so that our furniture was protected!  He's a funny man but he has a great heart!!

It's Been Awhile!

Instead of catching up, I'm just going to start from now. We moved to an apartment that has a pool and Bradlee is LOVING it!  We go down most days and he can swim for hours.  This will be a great way to have fun but save money!!!

In October, I ran my first half marathon.  I actually really enjoyed it!

Even though two years ago I said that I would never run another Ragnar, I have now done three.  Josh and I participated in the Vegas Ragnar this month.  

Halloween 2012

Bradlee was Jake from the disney channel show "Jake and the Neverland Pirates."  We were crazy and even dyed Bradlee's hair black so he looked more like Jake.   

Bradlee had a cute little halloween party at school.  This was the "boy" table.

We carved Mickey and Donald on our pumpkins.  Bradlee has always hated the feel of the guts in the pumpkins.  I forced him to touch them and he started dry heaving.  He hated me for a while after that!

Bradlee is 6!

Bradlee still has four more days before his birthday, but I wanted to share his pictures I took today.  

He is getting so big.  I can't believe he is in kindergarten.  He is such a smart boy and is truly a joy and blessing to Josh and I.  

And he looks mighty handsome in his pink shirt.  The kid will wear anything if I say it looks nice.  I think he truly likes it though.

A month of races

We have been keeping busy this month participating in races together as a family.  We did the color run and then Bradlee and I did the dirty dash.  Bradlee did the kids race, the piglet plunge, while I completed the 10K course!

Bradlee got a handful of mud thrown in his face on accident by a very "kind" lady who was walking through the mud pit in front of us.  He was NOT pleased and said that he never wants to do that race again!
